The purpose of the Okinawa Kenjin Club of Washington State is to promote friendship among its members, and to hand down our posterity, our cultural heritage, and to become the cultural bridge between Japan and the United States by introducing Okinawan traditional music, dances, folk craft and other means to the people of Washington State and to people in other states as well.
