2008 The Junior Tour: Request for Candidates for Participation in the Junior Study Tour

The Junior Study Tour, which aims to further develop various Kenjinkai communities around the world and foster the next generation of human resources that will lead the Uchinanchu Network, was initially featured as a pre-event to the Third Worldwide Uchinanchu Festival held in 2001, and has been continually implemented as a voluntary program of Okinawa Prefecture since 2002 due to the strong continual demand for it from oversea Kenjinkais and other associations.
For this purpose, Okinawa Prefectural Government, Exchange Promotion Division requires a list of names of those individuals from our Kenjinkai who have been selected as candidates for participation in this tour.
They are kindly request that you refer to the Application Guide for Junior Study Tour Oversea Participants and Chaperones (below document) and complete the Name List of Candidates for Participation in the Junior Study Tour (below document) form before the specified due date.
Please be aware that candidates will be reviewed by Okinawa Prefectural Government, Exchange Promotion Division, and that they will notify you at a later date regarding which individuals they have officially selected.
Forms to be submitted: Name List of Candidates for Participation in the Junior Study Tour.
Due date for submission: March 21th, 2008 (the due date must be observed)
